Why use an event designer?
It is an efficient and effective service for busy professionals or for those of you who do not like to take care of the detail; employing a dedicated resource will ensure your event goes off smoothly.  Event designers are there to help bring all the ideas together, negotiate on your behalf and monitor the progress.  If you are unable to devote as much time as you would like then an event designer will maximise your input.
What is it that you do?
Accent Event’s involvement is controlled by you the client.  Accent Events can manage the entire event from your specification “Bespoke Management” or if you want us to find the perfect venue for you to do the rest then that is what we will do, “Off the cuff”.  Please go to the services page to see areas in which we can help you.  Our approach is to be flexible where possible and to work around your individual requests.
Will I lose control of my event?
All action to be taken by Accent Events is confirmed with you the client.  Any decisions will be referred to you, anything with a specific deadline will be flagged and you will be given a date and time which to reply to Accent Events to ensure that bookings are to secure your chosen supplier or venue.  In this way you will always have a view to progress.  The form of communication between Accent Events and the client may change as the event date draws nearer to ensure all information is conveyed promptly.

Can you help us with everything?
In most cases we can help you with all your requests.   For weddings there are some things that can only be done by you.  For example presenting yourselves at the Town Hall in the region you wish to marry. Some areas will want to see you and the paperwork several days before the actual wedding date.  Accent Events will oversee the submission of paperwork but the accuracy of the information you provide to us is down to you.
If I want my wedding in Italy when do I need to start planning?
This depends on the type of ceremony you require, civil, religious or symbolic.  Other factor that may influence the date and planning period is location and time of year.

How much paperwork do we need to do?  Does this take long?
Again this is relative to the type of ceremony and your individual status.  There are some instances where additional time needs to be factored in to the planning and document submissions.

Should I get insurance?
Accent Events suggests that all clients have valid travel insurance.  There are specialist companies that provide cover for weddings abroad.

How can I transport my wedding Clothes?
Accent Events suggests you contact the airline with which you will be travelling to find out their exact policy and wording for transporting wedding attire. There are companies who provide transportation boxes, the dimensions should be checked with the airline if you plan to take this in the cabin area of the plane.
Do we have to speak any Italian?
The ceremony will be conducted in Italian. A translator will need to be present to ensure you understand the legal elements of the service. If you are having a symbolic ceremony then it is possible to find an English speaking priest who can preside over this type of ceremony. Availability and accessibility is dependent on area.
How much should I allocate to my wedding day?
Once we have gathered together a list of your requirements we are able to give you a guideline budget. Your choices will govern the level of expenditure. Please do bear in mind that we do not sell packages and therefore every event will have a degree of bespoke planning, therefore our service charge will reflect this relative to AE’s involvement.
Are there any hidden costs?
No, you will be advised of all costs related to your wedding. Any late changes you may request are likely to incur a late fee if they can be accommodated. Also individual suppliers may increase their costs from the original estimate particularly if the enquiry was made a considerable time in advance of the wedding date. The exchange rate is an important factor to take in to account when budgeting.
