IF YOU’RE BASED IN THE UK,
HOW DO YOU PLAN WEDDINGS IN ITALY?

Having the right team is essential to successful planning and over the years I’ve built up a fantastic network of people based in Italy that support me when organising a wedding or event there. With a combination of emails, phone calls, and key in-person visits, planning a wedding in Italy from my UK base is just like planning one on home soil.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

I’m a firm believer in having a clear budget and grasp of costs, so I understand it’s frustrating when I say that my fee depends on many factors. You can get an idea of approximate fees on my individual service pages and I’m happy to give you a guide once we’ve had a chat. Of course, following this chat you’re not obligated to book with me, but I will be able to give a far more personal and accurate idea of what you can achieve with your budget.

DO WE HAVE TO USE YOUR SUPPLIERS?

Not at all. I’m only interested in bringing together a team that is right for you. I do know some brilliantly talented people that I’ve worked with before and of course the benefit of this is that they’re tried and tested, so you have extra peace of mind that they’re reliable.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I’ll be the first person there, checking over every last detail and ensuring things run to schedule. If a supplier has a question, or a guest needs some information, I’m there. Essentially my role on the day is to give you the freedom to enjoy every moment as it unfolds and not even think about what’s going on behind the scenes.

DO YOU JUST PLAN WEDDINGS?

No, I love celebrations of all kinds, and actually, milestone parties and special occasions can be brilliantly fun to plan! They have all the logistical ingredients of a wedding, so obviously that makes the list-maker in me happy, but they’re also an opportunity to really go to town on guest experience.

IF MY VENUE HAS A COORDINATOR,
WHY DO I NEED A PLANNER?

Venue coordinators are brilliant. They help with all things relating to the venue, but that’s pretty much where it ends. A planner on the other hand, is with you from day one. You get support with all your ideas, sourcing suppliers, handling paperwork and so on, as well as then making sure all of that comes together on the day. In terms of taking the stress off your shoulders, there’s no contest.
