Italy is well and truly in my blood, and planning has always been part of my make up, it was only natural then to grab hold of that dream of becoming an Italy wedding planner .

I discovered very early on that I work well with those couples who embrace the incomparable culture and atmosphere of Italy.  Couples wish to live the Italian lifestyle through their wedding.  They are looking for an Italy wedding planner who bring out the passion and authenticity of Italy in their approach – that’s me!

When in Italy

I love collaborating with couples who are not interested in bringing an English style wedding to Italy.  My wedding radar starts tingling when we start talking about aromas, Italian traditions, niche venues and out of seaon experiences.  My ideal couple is open to mixing up the format of their wedding day.

A sunrise or sunset wedding on the Amalfi Coast followed by a romantic evening cruising the coastline has greater significance to them than a 3pm wedding followed by a traditional seated reception and dancing.  Or a rustic hillside agriturismo with an eclectic selection of wonderful farm props to used for decoration.

Top to Toe

With the help of my trusty network of Italian representatives and contacts, I cover the whole of Italy, from the elegant Lakes in the North to the ruggedly beautiful Amalfi coast and anywhere in between.

With over a decade of experience, my goal is to simplify the process of arranging a destination wedding in Italy, I am a practical person so we will delve into the who, what, when and where and then we look at the softer side of planning.

Together we will navigate the language barrier, local traditions, and I will  guide you through the notoriously tricky legal documents and process so that you can enjoy all the beauty Italy has to offer.

Something for Everyone

There really is nowhere quite like Italy to ignite the senses and fill you with warmth and passion for this incredibly diverse country.

Rob & Michelle

“Thanks to Jo and her husband Martin, our dream wedding in Italy became a reality! With both of us working full-time and not speaking very many words of Italian, it was clear from the outset that attempting to organise a three-day wedding break abroad on our own for about 60 guests was a non-starter.

Step forward Jo. From the off, she impressed us. Of all the qualities that Jo possesses, perhaps the most important was that she never lost sight of whose big day it was. She listened to what we wanted; asked questions to get us to think about what really mattered to us; came up with lots of ideas to enhance our own; suggested alternatives when what we were thinking of was neither possible nor practical; gave us regular and timely updates on progress; sourced a whole host of fantastic local suppliers in Tuscany; and took account of our budget and was honest about potential costs, but never once did she try to push us down a route that didn’t fit in with what we wanted or make us feel that we weren’t totally in control of matters.”
